Concrete Bored Piles Foundation

Uses of Concrete Bored Piles, Design & Details, Installation, Advantages, Limitations.

Reinforced Concrete Bored piles, cast insitu are now extensively used as tall building foundations in well built up city areas where buildings, structures and services are very close to each other. This is mainly due to bored piles installation advantages where ground vibrations are minimum compared to dynamic piling. The only important criteria  is that the base rock is thick enough to provide good socket friction and load carrying capacity.
